This couples Pine Tree Barn Summer Wedding in June literally blew me away. I am so excited to tell you all a little bit about this stunning wedding! Mckenzie and Jordan put together such a special day for their friends and family. I absolutely adore these two, and they were literally dream clients. These two made it clear every step of the way that they weren’t going to let anything get them down on their day. They went out of their way all day long to show me how much they valued me + my art. I seriously could not have asked for a better bride and groom!

Mckenzie actually reached out to me BEFORE her and Jordan were officially engaged, which was so sweet. The moment Jordan popped the question, Mckenzie and I were already getting down to business planning their engagement photos! I met up with them for the first time last summer for their engagement photos. From the beginning these two were so laid back, fun, and sweet.

I can’t begin to describe how much I enjoyed working with them. They never failed to remind me how much they valued me and my work. There is simply nothing more I could ask for from a couple! After their engagements, I was so so anxious to get together again for their wedding day. As you could have guessed, we spent A LOT of time chatting about their wedding details during their engagements. It was so incredible to watch as their vision for their day truly came to life!

Love and joy filled this day, and every moment felt so genuine and true to them as a couple. Mckenzie’s sister and her family put so much time and energy into pulling this day together. This wedding was super emotional in the BEST way! Their day was definitely packed full of interesting surprises, and Mckenzie and Jordan were troopers through it all! From a tornado warning forcing us to move the entire ceremony inside, to the storm raging in the sky, and mixing up all their plans. Mckenzie and Jordan adapted effortlessly, went right along with the flow, and remained focused on what really mattered: Them, and their love story.

This day might have been different than we initially expected. However, I truly appreciated how it forced me to grow and stretch myself as a photographer, and support my couple regardless of what mother nature had planned for us! Like I mentioned before, they were so willing to collaborate with me on every detail of their day, and I appreciated them so much! Every single person stayed so positive through it all, and their day was better than I could have ever imagined.

We managed to squeeze in some moments between the rain and wind to venture outside. Mckenzie and Jordan didn’t waste a second together! They laughed, danced and kissed in the rain. It’s so special to look back on, because they were way too focused on each other, and the beauty of their love to care at all about the things they couldn’t control! At the end of their evening, Mckenzie and Jordan gathered up their friends and family under the stormy sky. We lit up some sparklers, and sent them off together! It was the perfect ending to a crazy, yet breathtaking and memorable day for these two!
