I think the moments that hit my soul the hardest are those family moments.
The moments where your mom is zipping up your dress looking at you with such love in her eyes or when your partner can't hold back their tears watching you walk to them. Most of all, parent dances get me EVERY time because I pray that my dad will be able to have a father dance with me. My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 16 years ago. I have such an appreciation for all these once-in-a-lifetime moments on the wedding day; those are the moments I live for.
I came from the exact opposite, but I was given the chance to love and be loved. I was brought into such an amazing family that truly showed me what it was to be loved by others.
My adoption story + upbringing have truly made me into such a family-oriented person, which is why I love photographing weddings so much. They are just that. A celebration of love with all of your closest friends and family. There are so many parts of the wedding day that excite me, that just remind me why I love what I do every single day. Getting to know my couples, along with their friends and family truly make for the best memories.
On 9. 19. 2020, I married my high school sweetheart, Joel. We met freshman year of high school and started dating the summer after. Even though being a COVID bride definitely had its' challenges, our wedding day truly couldn't have been more perfect.
I am SUCH a foodie! Some of my absolute favorites are:
sushi, flamin hot cheetos, MINI m&ms (because admit it, they taste better), popcorn AND of course a spicy sprite from Mconalds!
This is our little family- us and our 3 pups! Tucker is a 6-7 year old Lab/Pitbull mix that we rescued in college, Lily is a 6 year old Maltipoo, and Ginger is the baby- she's a purebred American Lab that we got in January of 2021! I really am a crazy dog mom, but I am 1000% fine with that!
My husband, Joel is a commercial airline pilot so traveling is in both of our blood! We absolutely love to adventure to new places + immerse ourselves in new cultures. If you're wanting to travel, let's freaking DO IT.
