I had the best time ever with Anna and Howard capturing these moody outdoor Colorado elopement photos! I met up with this sweet couple at the Three Peaks Ranch in Colorado and it was stunning!

First of all, we have to talk about this venue. Because holy cow, it was so beautiful. When most people picture Colorado, often times we think of stunning mountain views and breathtaking nature. The Three Peaks Ranch in Westcliffe, Colorado brought all of that plus more. It was such a peaceful, serene location situated right at the base of the mountains. The massive field served as the perfect spot for Anna and Howards elopement! They both looked incredible, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of them!

Anna and Howard were so much fun to work with. They are so laid back and funny! Howard has such a contagious laugh, and I couldn’t stop smiling with them. Anna looked absolutely incredible in her gown. She was literally glowing! This dress was most definitely one of my favorite elements in the shoot. I loved how romantic and whimsical it was, and all of the movement and dimension it brought to the photos. The soft, blush pink shade looked perfect against Howards deep plum suit.

These two KILLED it! They looked good, and they felt good. Every moment with them felt so easy and natural, and I couldn’t have asked for a better shoot. Also, can we talk about their adorable pup? The sweetest ever! I’m always encouraging my couples to bring their fur babies along to our shoots!

We took advantage of all the different, gorgeous areas this venue had to offer during our shoot. After eloping in the field, we adventured across the 160 acre property to the barn. We even got to hangout with some horses! The weather was a bit cloudy, however I really didn’t mind! It’s always nice when clouds can help diffuse sunlight, and help create some really moody energy. Anna and Howard didn’t miss a beat all day! I left this session feeling so inspired and excited to edit, and I love how the photos turned out!
