Michigan Sand Dunes Couples Photos

I loved hanging out with Katie and Zach, and capturing these Michigan sand dunes couples photos! The weather was absolutely perfect, and I could not have imagined a better day at the dunes! I always have so much fun running around this location, and it was a perfect spot for these Michigan natives!

Katie and Zach are both videographers, which is so cool! It’s always so much fun to collaborate with other creatives on photoshoots, and give them the opportunity to spend some time in front of the camera! These two are both from my home state of Michigan, but are based out of Colorado. Once I heard they were stopping in Michigan again, I knew we had to get together! Katie is one of the sweetest people ever, and her and I have gotten sushi together a few times. She’s always going on about how much she loves her man Zach, who I had not met until this shoot! They are so cute together, and honestly blew me away with how much fun they were together! These two are super laid back, fun loving and silly, and their personalities totally came to life during this shoot!

I’m no stranger to the dunes, however this trip was extra special! Since it’s early fall, we were lucky enough to have them all to ourselves! It was so cool to run around together without worrying about anyone else, and avoid the thousands of footprints that are usually all over! It was definitely a bit chilly, however it gave these two a chance to cuddle up even closer! Katie and Zach literally fit into the dunes PERFECTLY. Between Katies long blonde hair and Zach’s man bun, they seriously look like they belong there! It was so much fun taking a trip up to the dunes before it gets to cold, and spending time with such a cool couple!
