This Church of Dirt Utah Intimate Wedding was absolutely beautiful. From their boho themed wedding details, to Mandy’s gorgeous bouquet and stunning dress, this Utah wedding was a dream to be a part of.
Originally Mandy and Dylan had planned to get married in Michigan, but due to the pandemic they decided to elope. Mandy is originally from Utah, so she wanted something with the mountains. They also wanted a smaller wedding with only their close family and friends. It was beautiful to see the visions Mandy and Dylan had for their wedding day come to life!
I met up Mandy and Dylan the day before their wedding and actually did some engagement photos with them. I take every opportunity to connect with my couples before their wedding day, and loved that I got some extra time with this fun loving couple.
A cool fact about Dylan is that he’s a member of the rock band I Prevail. So it was really fun to see him with his friends and other members of the band. The timing of their wedding worked out perfectly because I Prevail was set to go on tour shortly after. Mandy and Dylan wanted a wedding day that allowed them time to focus on themselves and to also celebrate with their closest family and friends. They made it happen and it was absolutely magical to capture their wedding day!
Church of Dirt is a short drive from Park City, Utah and is along Empire Pass. Church of Dirt isn’t a formal wedding venue or even a church. It’s simply a designated spot where people are able to get married in the mountains near Park City. Reserving your date at Church of Dirt requires an in-person visit to write down your name and date and follows the honor system. Church of Dirt is already set with a handful of wooden benches and a rustic wooden arbor. It was the perfect place for Mandy and Dylan’s wedding ceremony.
