These Bonneville salt flats bridals are ones you’re not going to want to skip over. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening! Elle + Sam recently got married, and were wanting to go somewhere different for some bridal portraits. It was my first time out in Utah, and I had recommended the Salt Flats to them. They were all about it and even though they were flooded, their Bonneville Salt Flats bridals turned out amazingly.
I had sent some inspiration to Elle as far as photos went, and she came prepared! She brought two dresses. One dress was the one she wore on her wedding day and then the other was more of a “trash the dress” one! It was absolutely perfect since the salt flats were flooded.
We decided to find a part that wasn’t flooded to get some bridal portraits in her original dress first. Then, we went over to the “flooded” side and she put on her other dress and we let it flow, we got our feet a little wet (and salty!) and the sunset was impeccable. If you ever visit Utah, go to the salt flats because the sunsets are a MUST SEE.
Want your portraits taken on the Bonneville Salt Flats?
OF COURSE you do! Given that this is quite a ways from Michigan, I definitely recommend reaching out to me as soon as you have a date picked out. And if you’re also not a Utah native, here’s a quick guide to visiting the Salt Flats!
