Lexi and Dylan’s romantic Phoenix Arizona couples session in November was a dream desert session! Phoenix had the most warm and glowy sunset which I always love!  I was in Phoenix to photograph an elopement and to spend time with family, and thankfully got to meet up with this sweet couple for their engagement photos. Being based in Michigan, being in warm and sunny Phoenix was so nice! 

Lexi and Dylan are both students at Arizona State University. They were so loving and hands on with each other which made their session so much fun to photograph! I love all the emotions their photos showcase from the silly, laughing photos to the more quiet, intimate moments between the two. 

Couples Session Outfits Inspo

I have to take a second to talk about the outfits they chose for their engagement session! I LOVED their first casual outfits with the denim and black combo. Neutral colors are always a good choice when thinking of colors for photoshoot outfits! 

Their second outfits were also perfect! Once again Dylan’s neutral outfit paired beautifully with Lexi’s sage green dress. With the natural earthy tones of the desert landscape, their outfits allowed them to stand out just enough. It’s so important to feel comfortable and confident in the outfits you choose to wear for photos too. Evidently Lexi and Dylan rocked both of their outfits and felt completely comfortable! 

Engagement Photos at Papago Park 

Papago Park is close to Arizona State University and a short drive from downtown Phoenix. Since Lexi and Dylan are ASU students, Papago Park was an easy location to use for their engagement photos.
