I had such an amazing time running around with Kierstin and Sean during these romantic fall Michigan engagements! I was lucky enough to meet up with them at their families property in Saugatuck, Michigan. It was such a breathtaking location! Literally, it blew my mind! I absolutely love fall, and all the stunning colors that come along with it. This property was covered in massive, rust orange and yellow trees that looked so amazing in their photos. It was so fun to have the entire area to ourselves! These two are absolute naturals in front of my camera, and I seriously couldn’t have imagined a better engagement session!
When we started brainstorming about locations, Kierstin and Sean told me that they actually had the perfect spot in mind. These two decided on shooting at their families property, which added such a special energy to the shoot. I love when my couples decide to shoot at locations that are meaningful to them! Whether that’s the spot from your first date, your backyard or your favorite restaurant.
Choosing somewhere that makes you and your person feel the most comfortable will bring your photos to life in a whole new way. Also, shooting in sentimental locations! It gives you both the opportunity to document a really special moment in time. I love imagining my couples looking back on their photos as they revisit the same location over and over again. Incorporating a location that is special to your heart makes your session that much more enjoyable, and I am always down to adventure anywhere with my couples, and learn more about your unique story!
These two were SUCH a fun time! They had me laughing all night long, and I am so pumped for their wedding next year! These two share such a sweet love, and I’m so excited to hug them next year, and document another milestone!
