I have been obsessing over this Summer Yosemite National Park Elopement for literally ever! Paloma and Deron were such an incredible and sweet couple. Every detail of this shoot was literally out of my photography dreams! These two did such an amazing job bringing my vision to life! Yosemite, like I have said before, is such a special location to me. I swear, i’m ready to hop on a plane the moment somebody brings it up! I had so much fun showing these two around. From chasing them through the valley to catching the sunset cliffside, this day was seriously so memorable. You’re going to want to scroll, trust me!

Paloma + Deron are both California natives, living in Los Angeles. I was so excited when they told me that they had never been to Yosemite! It’s a bit of a drive, just under 5 hours from LA and they were so down for it! These two are definitely adventure junkies, and I had so much fun chatting with them about all of their epic experiences travelling together! We started down in the Valley, and they both looked unbelievable under the clear blue sky, with the mountains and endless trees just behind them. As soon as I saw Paloma in this STUNNING, flowy and romantic dress from Daci Gowns, I could not stop picturing the photos. Like seriously, she was GLOWING! The gown caught the wind perfectly, and created some really dreamy photos.

As we hiked up to Taft Point, I took every opportunity to grab photos of these two in the forest. The light was SO fun to play with! I love the way it broke through the trees, and lit Paloma and Deron up so perfectly! These two were seriously such an adorable couple. Every moment with them had me smiling, and their love for each other is straight out of a fairytale! They killed the hike as well! We were so lucky because it was not nearly as busy as we expected, and we had tons of time to ourselves both in the forest and up at Taft Point!

Believe me when I say, the view up at Taft Point will never get old. Ever. It genuinely takes my breath away every single time, and leaves me feeling SO inspired. We got up to the cliff at the perfect moment, right as the light was changing. Palomas dress looked absolutely magical during sunset, and left my jaw on the floor. We took some amazing panoramic shots during sunset, and the sky was glowing orange. I am OBSESSED with the florals from Tatum and Charlie, and they looked perfect against Palomas gown! These two held each other close and twirled cliffside, and I could not get enough! I left this shoot feeling with a completely full cup, and endless inspiration! Paloma and Deron were such an incredible couple, and I truly could not be happier with how the photos from this magical day turned out!
